The Shraddhanand Mahila Ashram had an auditorium on the second floor which was difficult to access by senior citizens due to lack of an elevator. Funded by P.C. Alexander’s MLA donation, we were able to construct a completely RCC framed additional structure with shear wall along the existing building to accommodate a lift thereby facilitating the movement of senior citizens.
